LeadershipWhere my science, service & sport meet.
My work spans research, the outdoors and public life. Here is what sits behind it.
Academic Work
I am a Professor of Botany at Delhi University, focused on plant biodiversity and ecological resilience, with field research in the Middle Himalayas and two terms won in the DUTA elections.
Fieldwork & Environment
I have ridden more than 5,000 km across India collecting botanical samples and studying local ecosystems — research I carry out in the field, not only the lab.
Sport & Photography
I was recognised at the national level in volleyball by the Sports Authority of India, and I photograph wildlife to document India's biodiversity.
Public Service
I bring the same discipline to public life — working with Bihar's youth on ethical politics and employment, and contributing to the state's development through steady, on-the-ground effort.
A record of steady work.
